Beverley Festival of Christmas - 10th December 2017 - All Day

static1.squarespace.jpg

This is the second year at this exciting Christmas event! We were thrilled to have won "Best Dressed Stall 2016" last year! You can read our blog post about it here.

Each year, on the second Sunday in December, the centre of Beverley is transformed into a magical Christmas shopper’s wonderland, as over 120 stalls brimming with gorgeous Christmas gifts and local treats take over the town, which is also home to one of the country’s most beautiful Minsters.

Soak up the sights, smells and sounds as you wander around the market; the aroma of fresh mince pies and scrumptious hot chocolate, sound tracked by carols sung by local choirs, will get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

Don’t forget that Beverley Festival of Christmas has plenty to offer outside of the market too, including impressive architecture, a wealth of restaurants and more independant shops than you can imagine, perfect for those last minute stocking fillers!

The Beverley festival of Christmas is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit! Come along on Sunday 11th of December to experience all that Beverley has to offer!

Cottingham Food Festival

Screen Shot 2017-08-21 at 09.22.49.png

This year will be the fifth annual Cottingham Food and Drink Festival and we can’t wait to host another fun-filled day for all the family!

The festival, a showcase of the best that Yorkshire’s food and drink producers have to offer, started in 2013 and has grown year-on-year, to giving 25,000 people a day to buy from the exceptional producers and street food vendors in September 2016. This year, the event which is held in Cottingham village centre will be bigger than ever, with around 90 stalls attending with products ranging from artisan breads, cured meats, cheeses, locally produced beers and wines and much more!

On the Market Green, be sure to check out the cookery demonstrations held throughout the day from the best local chefs on how to prepare some of the ingredients you will see sold by producers. Last year, Ready Steady Cook and Saturday Kitchen star Brian Turner proved to be a hit with the audience, and we are pleased to say he will be back by popular demand this year.

So on Sunday 17th September if you fancy treating yourself to a few culinary delights, learning a few tips for the kitchen and helping our local food and drink producers, come down to the festival!

We’ll see you there!
